I can't believe I'm blogging! What is up with that? I've always been a bit of a blog snob, but I've had a recent change of heart, so here we go. Today was a wonderful day. I played outside in the fantastic fall sunshine with Grace and Grant. There was a light breeze, just enough to rattle some leaves off the trees, which made Gracie shriek with laughter. "Mom, weaves fall!" I took snapshots of them playing and then rolled onto my back to feel the sun's warmth on my face. As I lay there with my eyes closed I heard footsteps running toward me. Immediately I tensed, expecting one of my little ones to jump on me (they love to hear me say, "Uhhh!") but instead a gentle shadow fell over me. I opened one eye to see Grace standing above me with a dandelion poof in her hand and a look of joy and excitement on her face. "Blow Mom!" she chirped. So we blew away the dandelion seeds, and surely they'll infest the yard next year, but it was so fun I can't find it in me to care.
